Make it stand out

Together we can continue to do more for Castine

My goal in running again for Selectboard is to continue bringing a fresh perspective and new energy to the table. Castine is facing challenges, new and old, but each one is currently being addressed and has a plan behind it. Going forward, we can

  • Continue to find and utilize new grant funding sources to offset tax increases

  • Leverage existing committees to allow them to do more for the community

  • Continue to collaborate with other towns on the peninsula and provide input to Augusta from a small, coastal town perspective

  • Change our zoning laws that will help us navigate the directives coming from Augusta

  • Implement our Comprehensive Plan that was overwhelmingly approved

Together we can continue the shift of perspective from reactive to proactive and together we can work to keep our community vital and vibrant while keeping respect and civility at the forefront.
